Let us introduce ourselves...
Franklin
Pond Chamber Music is a unique summer chamber-music program for talented
pre-college musicians. Created as an opportunity for serious students
to interact personally with highly qualified professionals, the program
offers coaching with faculty members, masterclasses with guest artists,
and regularly scheduled sight-reading sessions. Students prepare for a
final concert, as well as presenting informal and outreach performances.
The Franklin Pond Chamber Music String Quartet Program meets one full
day per week for six weeks; it is designed to complement the summer schedules
of students who wish to stay home and study intensively with their private
teachers.
Our goal is to develop the artistic and interpretive talents of our students,
as well as to strengthen their communication skills as developing musicians.
