As the
winner of numerous competitions and awards, violinist Linda Sinanian
has toured internationally and throughout the United States, Canada and Europe
in performances of the solo, chamber music and orchestral repertoire. European
tours hailed especially laudatory reviews which launched her career and have
developed lasting cultural exchanges across the Atlantic. Following many years
performing in the major concert halls of the East coast as concertmaster of
the Atlantic Philharmonic Orchestra and the Manhattan Chamber Orchestra, and
in Italy as the concertmaster of the L’Opera Lyrico Sperimantale, principal
of the Boston Philharmonic, Boston Opera and the Jupiter Symphony Orchestra
and performances with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, the Portland Symphony
Orchestra and the Atlanta Opera, Linda turned her focus toward her greatest
love – chamber music. Consequently, she successfully established several
chamber ensembles on the eastern seaboard including the frequently recorded
Manhattan Chamber Orchestra and the Long Island Chamber Players. Chamber music
and solo recitals remain to fuel her musical life.

and the Atlantic Piano Trio. Sustaining, a deep respect for the magnificence
of the vast chamber music repertoire, Linda is devoted to the inclusion of
lesser known compositions by composers of the late 19th century and early
20th century whose romanticism and innovation were overshadowed by a variety
of circumstances and whose beauty and substance in their writing are deserving
of wider audience exposure.
Ardently dedicated to the musical education of the next generation of musicians,
Linda is a devoted teacher and chamber music coach. She is a faculty member
of The Aaron Copland School of Music, Queens College and teaches motivate
